Wanderer above the Sea of Fog

Caspar David Friedrich painted Wanderer above the Sea of Fog around 1818. A lone figure stands on a rock with his back to us, looking out over a landscape of mountains and mist. It is the ultimate image of Romanticism: solitude, reflection and awe at the grandeur of nature.

• Knitted, not printed: the design is knitted stitch by stitch into the sock, so the colours stay sharp wash after wash.
• Soft and comfortable: combed organic cotton with a little stretch, a seamless toe and a reinforced heel and toe.
• Two sizes: EU 36-40 and EU 41-46.
• Materials and care: 80% organic cotton, 15% polyamide, 5% elastane. Machine wash at 40°C, do not tumble dry or iron.
