The Dance

Henri Matisse painted The Dance in 1910 for the Russian collector Sergei Shchukin. Five figures dance hand in hand in a circle against a clear blue sky and green hill. The composition is pure joy, rhythm and movement, a perfect expression of Matisse's belief that art should bring happiness.

• Knitted, not printed: the design is knitted stitch by stitch into the sock, so the colours stay sharp wash after wash.
• Soft and comfortable: combed organic cotton with a little stretch, a seamless toe and a reinforced heel and toe.
• Two sizes: EU 36-40 and EU 41-46.
• Materials and care: 80% organic cotton, 15% polyamide, 5% elastane. Machine wash at 40°C, do not tumble dry or iron.
