Oceania, the Sky

Henri Matisse created Oceania, the Sky in 1946, one of his first large paper cut-outs. Birds, fish, coral and seaweed float freely in white against a soft background, memories of his trip to Tahiti in 1930. It marks the start of the cut-out period that would define his final years.

• Knitted, not printed: the design is knitted stitch by stitch into the sock, so the colours stay sharp wash after wash.
• Soft and comfortable: combed organic cotton with a little stretch, a seamless toe and a reinforced heel and toe.
• Two sizes: EU 36-40 and EU 41-46.
• Materials and care: 80% organic cotton, 15% polyamide, 5% elastane. Machine wash at 40°C, do not tumble dry or iron.
