Impression, Sunrise

Claude Monet painted Impression, Sunrise in 1872: the harbour of Le Havre in morning mist, with a bright orange sun and small boats sketched in a few strokes. A critic used its title to mock the painters at the 1874 exhibition, and so the word Impressionism was born.

• Knitted, not printed: the design is knitted stitch by stitch into the sock, so the colours stay sharp wash after wash.
• Soft and comfortable: combed organic cotton with a little stretch, a seamless toe and a reinforced heel and toe.
• Two sizes: EU 36-40 and EU 41-46.
• Materials and care: 80% organic cotton, 15% polyamide, 5% elastane. Machine wash at 40°C, do not tumble dry or iron.
