Blue Nude

In 1952 Henri Matisse cut his famous series of Blue Nudes from paper painted in blue gouache. Because of his health he could no longer paint at the easel, so he started 'drawing with scissors'. The elegant, minimal figure shows how much expression he could create with the simplest shapes.

• Knitted, not printed: the design is knitted stitch by stitch into the sock, so the colours stay sharp wash after wash.
• Soft and comfortable: combed organic cotton with a little stretch, a seamless toe and a reinforced heel and toe.
• Two sizes: EU 36-40 and EU 41-46.
• Materials and care: 80% organic cotton, 15% polyamide, 5% elastane. Machine wash at 40°C, do not tumble dry or iron.
